Job description

Warehouse Associate

Join a small, family-owned company as a Warehouse Associate, where you will be responsible for picking and packing laundry and cleaning supply products for delivery or pickup by our valued customers, such as hotels, laundromats, dry cleaners, and rehab centers.

Responsibilities

  • Complete picking and packing of orders based on pick tickets.
  • Shrink wrap orders manually and using a machine to ensure safe delivery.
  • Lift and handle materials, including boxes weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Read pick tickets and accurately fulfill orders.
  • Unload deliveries and replenish warehouse shelves.
  • Load larger orders onto pallets.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
  • Ability to read and write English to interpret pick tickets.
  • Capability to lift over 50 pounds.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • No computer skills required.
  • No RF scanner skills needed.
  • No inventory skills necessary.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are from 8 : 30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work and minimal overtime expected. Enjoy a 30-minute lunch break between 11 : 30 AM and 12 : 30 PM. The attire is comfortable, with closed-toed shoes, shorts or pants, and a t-shirt being appropriate. Founded in 1977, the company has been providing top-quality laundry and cleaning supplies for over four decades.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr.
