Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary : The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at WEBIT Services is responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. The QA Engineer will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review quality specifications and technical design documentation to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software products.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand product functionalities and requirements.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the software meets business and technical requirements.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new code does not negatively affect existing functionality.
• Monitor and analyze test results.
• Provide feedback to the development team on areas of improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain and update documentation related to quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Participate in Agile / Scrum development processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
