Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP / AR) Clerk to manage the day-to-day processing of financial transactions related to incoming and outgoing payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Accounts Payable :
Handle accounts payable for multiple entitiesProcess and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness in a timely mannerMatch purchase orders with invoicesCode and enter vendor invoices into the accounting systemSchedule and prepare payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesMaintain vendor records and ensure compliance with internal controlsAccounts Receivable :
Generate and send customer invoices in a timely mannerApply payments to customer accountsFollow up on past-due accounts and perform collections as neededReconcile AR aging reports and investigate discrepanciesMaintain accurate customer recordsGeneral Duties :
Assist with month-end closing procedures and journal entriesPrepare reports related to payables and receivablesSupport audits by providing necessary documentationCollaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issuesOther duties as assignedRequirements :
