Description
In this role, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and feature set for a platform that powers a wide range of events, from small internal meetings to large-scale global conferences and product launches. You will drive capability-based thinking across our events-to-broadcast ecosystem, working closely with engineering, design, product marketing, and operations teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business and our audience.
Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Strategy : Champion a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our event management and streaming platform, aligned with overall organizational goals.
- Market Analysis & User Research : Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify opportunities and unmet needs in the event management and streaming space.
- Platform Evolution & Requirements Definition : Own the product roadmap for critical systems supporting Apple events while building scalable solutions for internal collaboration needs. Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Prioritization & Execution : Prioritize features and initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals. Drive the execution of the product roadmap, working closely with engineering and design teams.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the platform's success and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Management : Communicate product plans, progress, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Vendor Management : Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
- Stay Current : Maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in event management, streaming, and related fields.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's or Masters Degree in an engineering or technical field.8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on event management, streaming, or related technologies.2+ years launching and scaling complex software platforms.Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of the event lifecycle, including planning, registration, execution, and post-event analysis.Strong technical background and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders and partners.Strong strategic thinking skills – able to synthesize diverse inputs and align strategy to the "big picture."Excellent analytical skills – the ability to use data and metrics to validate assumptions and evaluate outcomes.Experience leading without authority – the ability to motivate and guide people in a single direction without direct reporting relationships.Experience with live streaming platforms and technologies (e.g., WebRTC, HLS, RTMP).Experience with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite).Background working with mission-critical systems that support high-visibility external events.Experience in organizations balancing user-facing and engineering-heavy product initiatives.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
