Duties will include but are not limited to supplier relations, including vendor evaluations and maintaining all related records (Purchase orders, Purchase agreements, Vendor contracts). The Buyer will be expected to assist the division with procurement functions in negotiating and processing of purchase requests at the best value while maintaining quality and contract regulations that may apply. The Buyer will also be expected to maintain a high quality of customer service and support to the Nucor team. The individual in this position will be expected to back up all Procurement functions. Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays as business conditions warrant.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma
• Minimum 2 years procurement or related field work experience
• Minimum 2 years inventory management experience
