As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a retail and mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to guests and staff. Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters as required by Allied Universal and site management. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
