The Optometrist s are certified in the medical treatment and management of ocular diseases , screening and treatment for cataract s and glaucoma, surgical co-management, contact lenses, and other ocular conditions.

Dr. Ragsdale is also an expert in hard-to-fit contact lenses and is the preferred provider in the area for soft and rigid contact s when necessary, as well as specialty fittings for monovision, keratoconus , or aphakic patients.

To help support ongoing practice growth and continue the legacy service the patients know and expect, Dr. Ragsdale is looking to a d d an Optometrist to the team of 12 employees.

The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology , including Optomap , high-de finition OCT , visual fields, retina photos, scanning laser testing, and specialized equipment to polish rigid len s es for comfort.

Cloud-based software manages electronic health records and establishes a baseline for patients ' health while monitoring ocular changes.

About the Optometrist Opening

Ragsdale Vision Center is seeking a pa rt-time or full-time Optometrist who genuinely cares a bout th e p atient experi ence and i s dedicated to providing top-notch eye care t o ensur e o ptimal visio n.

Y ou ' ll perform comprehensive eye exams and ocular medical visits for patients of all ages, medical, and visual condition s -an average of 20 patients are cared for daily.

The practice is looking for a friendly doctor with the ability to efficiently perform exams while making patients feel welcome at Ragsdale Vision Center.

T his is an excellent opportunity to directly impact the success of an established practice and care for a variety of patients and co nditions.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills , interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.

M inimum qualifications include :

Optometry license in the state of Texas
