MBA Summer Associate Intern, Congress Operations

Congress Operations is a team within the Medical Operations department in Medical Affairs. The Congress Operations Team is responsible for leading the congress planning process across Vertex to ensure there is an integrated plan for the congress and Vertex can meet our company goals at these meetings.

We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to play a critical role in the transformation of our Congress Operations processes. Offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our operating model as we scale to support a growing number of congresses across multiple therapeutic areas.

The department is currently revamping our core business processes and evolving them to adapt to our growing number of disease area congresses to enable quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. This will include the introduction of new systems and ways of working and this role will support the development, implementation and measurement of these optimized processes and ways of working.

This coming summer, top MBA candidates from business schools around the world will be a part of a first of its kind program to develop the next generation of savvy business leaders in our 10-week opportunity designed to provide hands-on work experience in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Pay Range : $55 - $55

Disclosure Statement : The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Flex Designation : Hybrid-Eligible Or On-Site Eligible
