Human Resources Recruiting Assistant
Location : Cape Girardeau, MO
Pay Range : $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, dependent upon experience
Day Shift : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
Minimum Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must enjoy working with people and be patient, tactful and approachable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of human resources and recruiting functions (e.g. . posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with or ability to learn HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR and candidate information.
- Must hold valid drivers license and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.
As a Human Resources Recruiting Assistant , you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of the Agency's talent and recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry and updates in the agency's Applicant Tracking System including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates, etc.Support the Director of Recruitment and Hiring with candidate workflow tasks such as email follow-ups and coordinating next steps.Conduct initial candidate outreach and clarification calls as needed.Prepare and process new hire documentation including background checks, education verification, reference checks, and onboarding forms.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system; scan, upload, and file documents appropriately.Help coordinate onboarding and orientation tasks, ensuring new employees have necessary information and materials.Assist with tracking required trainings, orientation completions, and follow-up documentation.Support administrative task related to recruitment initiatives, such as event coordination or social media postings, when requested.Provide general HR administrative support including filing, document, preparation, scheduling, and responding to routine inquiries in the Recruitment Department.Assist with agency recruitment and retention strategies.Provide company information and opportunities to active and passive applicants.Assist with recruiting events when needed.Assist with other HR tasks as needed.Why Join Community Counseling Center?
