Overview

About The Role : Position : Fan Space Community Manager

Location : hello82 LA

Work Hours : Between 10 : 30AM - 7 : 30PM Local Time

Benefits : Health benefits, 401k, paid time off

This position will work alongside LA's Operational Supervisor to generate traffic through new and exclusive events, oversee the local fan space team, and work directly with Senior Management to uphold and maintain business expectations and standards. Weekend Work is Expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Fan Space operations to drive customer volume, loyalty, and retention.
  • Develop new and exclusive event ideas to generate traffic into local space.
  • Lead, manage, and coach a team of 10+ employees.
  • Work directly with Senior Management to accomplish quarterly goals and uphold brand standards.
  • Track and merchandise inventory using a variety of data and organizational methods.
  • Track and report daily sales and activity within the space.
  • Communicate efficiently with Senior Management and Partner Location Management to meet dynamic deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with local K-pop happenings to enhance LA's K-pop community.
  • Build and nurture relationships while maintaining positive rapport with the local K-pop community.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
  • Must be local to Los Angeles, CA or able to reliably travel.
  • Proficiency in Excel and / or Google Sheets.
  • Genuine interest in K-pop music and content.
  • 2-3 years of managerial experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • 2-3 years of retail experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to think quickly and creatively, using both data and intuition to make decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead a team of 8+ and work closely with project managers to create a welcoming and engaging environment for K-pop fans nationwide.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar POS system.
  • Proficiency in Korean language is preferred but not required.
