The Manufacturing Engineer at Aqua-Chem will be responsible for supporting the production process to ensure optimization of cost, quality and on time delivery of products.
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
Location : Onsite; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range : Dependent on Experience | $85,000 - $135,000 / yr

Essential Duties :
Update or emplace manufacturing work instructions plant wide.
Develop standard labor hours and optimization of those hours.
Design to value : improve new and existing manufacturing drawings for ease of manufacturing and reduction in cost without affecting safety, quality, form, fit, and function.
Support purchasing : prepare scope of supply, to include instructions and drawings for suppliers.
Support manufacturing "red lines" - incorporate minor manufacturing design change request(s) without disrupting manufacturing operations.
Review of new manufacturing drawings for release
Support Application in cost estimations.
Support the aftermarket department with tasks such as finding replacements for obsolete parts, etc.
Be a leader in completing the transformation into a data-driven organization.
Report progress on initiatives and KPI's.
Documents potential risks or shortfalls in methods and processes
Help develop a highly capable manufacturing support team.
Other duties as assigned by Manager / Supervisor.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to operate in Autodesk a plus
Requirements :
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Able to work overtime as required.
