Oracle Hcm Security & Governance (Hris) Manager
Grant Thornton is seeking a strategic and technically skilled professional to lead the security framework and data governance of our global human capital management (Oracle HCM) ecosystem within the in-house people & culture HRIS team. This role is critical to enabling efficient operations and safeguarding sensitive employee data across the Grant Thornton organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring business continuity but will also be highly engaged in project-based initiatives, as needed, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Security & Compliance Oversight
- Manage role-based access controls, data privacy settings, and audit protocols
- Develop and manage robust access control frameworks
- Safeguard sensitive HR data
- Management of data retention policies and automations
- Maintain and update all configuration workbooks
- Development of custom roles, organization structures and data security policies
- Document SOPs for all HRIS processes
- Governance Framework Development
- Establish and enforce governance standards
- Implement change management protocols
- Configure automations for archiving and purging data
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance
- Proactively identify and resolve integration failures
- Ensure business continuity
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with other internal teams
- Collect and retain evidence for all audit-related activities
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud SecurityMinimum 3 years of related work experience in a highly matrixed global organization1-2 years in a management or coach type of roleExperience managing role-based access controls and audit protocolsStrong grasp of global data protection regulationsProven ability to lead cross-functional projectsFamiliarity with governance frameworks and data stewardship practicesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience supporting compliance initiativesUnderstanding data retention policies and access control frameworksThe base salary range for this position in the firm's Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Denver, CO and Baltimore, MD offices only is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year.
