IT Sys Admin, (RMF / Security) / Top Secret / Onsite: Palmdale, CA

This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Skunkworks located in Palmdale, CA. This Systems Administrator role will focus heavily on RMF and Security.

The selected candidate will function as part of the IT support team; managing multiple closed environments, ensuring patching, vulnerability remediation, and STIGing for their assigned programs.

They will plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the program data, systems, and networks.

They will ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.

Troubleshoots technical security and network problems.* This is an Onsite position in our Palmdale, CA facility, working a 4x10 schedule (Mon - Thurs)* US Citizenship is required for this facilityBasic Qualifications :

• Ability to obtain active DoD Top Secret and be SAP-briefed
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security + certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems (i.e., Windows Server 2016, 2019, Win10, etc.)
• Experience with RMF / Security, including vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.

e., Nessus, McAfee / Trellix, iVanti, Splunk, SCAP, etc.)

• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• US Citizenship required for this facilityDesired Skills :
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance
• Active CompTIA Security + certification
• Technical IT Certifications (e.g. AZ-900, AZ-800; VMWare VCTA-DCV, VCP, etc.)
• RHEL 8 administration experience
• Experience with ESXi and / or Vmware vSphere / vCenter

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300 .

This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000.
