Buenos Aires Bakery and Cafe has been brining fresh and authentic Argentinian baked goods to the south Florida community since 1972.
Currently we are looking for a motivated Driver with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior over-the-counter serving experience to provide excellent and timely service to our customers.
Responsibility :
- Completes an efficient delivery and picks up the route for the day.
- Responsible for loading delivery vehicles with parcels scheduled for delivery.
- Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
- Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
- Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
- Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
- Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
- Can carry 50 pounds or more regularly.
- Must be able to speak, read and write Spanish, English is a plus.
- A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure with other staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
- Always maintains a professional image that fall within the uniform policy.
- This position's hours of work and days vary based on business needs and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to drive safely.
- Able to always remain courteous and professional.
Job Type : Full-time
Location : Main areas of service include but are not limited to : Miami Beach, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines
Pay : From $16.00 per hour
