Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, database administrators, AI / ML and automation engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Manage project governance : intake of project requests, provide estimates, align priorities with leadership and key stakeholders, ensure delivery on time and within budget, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.Define and implement enterprise data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across systems.Develop deep understanding of data flows supporting core business processes; collaborate with business analysts to document project needs.Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of source data for analytics; provide guidance on complex queries and data presentation tools.Maintain IT general controls, GxP regulations and CSV standards. Ensure SOX and data integrity compliance; collaborate with Quality to address findings.Develop and execute a roadmap for AI and intelligent automation initiatives focused on ROI; evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, RPA, machine learning).Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.Budget and resource allocation to balance project needs with team capabilities.Continuously improve core Procure to Pay, Demand to Build, Order to Cash, and Financial processes with best practices.Oversee vendor relationships and ensure alignment with business goals.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field; master's degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years' experience in data analytics, AI / ML, or automation roles in life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or manufacturing.At least 7 years of management experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.Proven experience in building and scaling data teams and platforms.Strong knowledge of data governance, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS).Experience building data warehouses or data marketplaces and integrating data sources using APIs and SQL.Hands-on experience with AI / ML, RPA tools, and automation frameworks.Experience in IT project management and business analysis with expertise in core business processes (e.g., Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, etc.).Understanding of enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, QMS, LIMS, HRIS, etc.Excellent communication skills; ability to engage executives and stakeholders.Ability to lead data-driven teams with metrics and reviews.Familiarity with IT systems deployment and end-user training SOPs.Location
