Job descriptionHands-on expertise in integrating Salesforce CPQ with SAP Variant Configurator. Strong understanding of : CPQ rule-based configuration for accurate quoting; SAP VC rule-based configuration for BOM and routing generation Proven experience in Quote-to-Cash and Plan-to-Manufacture workflows Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP CPI) for data exchange Ability to assess and recommend best-fit integration strategies (real-time, batch, API-based) Preferred Skills : Experience with SAP ECC or S / 4HANA environments Knowledge of Salesforce architecture and customization Understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP integration Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities

client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a SAP Variant Configuration Consultant.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement integration between Salesforce CPQ and SAP VC to : Enable Sales users to work primarily in Salesforce; Allow Manufacturing and Customer Service to operate primarily in SAP; Avoid duplication of configuration rules across systems
- Evaluate and present integration options, including : Data synchronization between CPQ and VC; Embedding SAP VC functionality within Salesforce CPQ (e.g., SAP VC window in CPQ)
- If direct integration is not feasible, propose alternative solutions to meet business objectives
- Support the Automation wave of the project through October 2026, with potential extension to year-end
