About The Position

Weekly Pay $56.67 / hour - Physical Therapist at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, OKC

• Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a 36-bed inpatient rehab hospital.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs focusing on improving mobility, strength, endurance, and independence.
• Treat patients recovering from strokes, amputations, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical issues.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, nurses, physicians) for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation technology, including EksoNR robotic exoskeleton and REAL VR systems.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safe mobility practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress using UDS ProDoc EHR, updating care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Typically manage a caseload of approximately 6 patients per shift.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications (PT license, CPR / BLS).
• Preferred : 1+ year of experience in inpatient rehab or acute care; background in orthopedics and neurorehabilitation is a plus but not required.
