Admissions Coordinator
Essential : Assist the Director of Admissions in supervision and leadership of the Admissions team. Assist Director in planning of recruitment activities including but not limited to high school visits, college planning conferences, and on and off campus recruitment activities. Participate in recruitment activities including but not limited to high school visits, college planning conferences, and on and off campus recruitment activities (some overnight travel required). Plan and participate in the recruitment of prospective students in the Wichita area. Supervise and assist in the activities of the student ambassador program including but not limited to day-to-day office activities and multiple monthly phone-a-thons. Coordinate, track, and maintain effective communication with prospective students in the CRM. Fill in for the Director of Admissions at college meetings when the Director is not available. Assist with planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation of admissions programming. Serve as the admissions liaison to the athletic department for recruitment activities. Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position. Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
Secondary : Assist with covering the office including but not limited to covering front office for daily walk-in traffic and answering admissions telephones. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions. Serve actively on campus committees.
