Finance & Accounting Analyst - Finance Operations
Provides financial support for the academic and research missions of the University, assists in developing and monitoring operating budgets for accuracy, control and compliance, engages with education and research leadership in strategic and financial planning, and assists finance leadership with current and anticipated changes to financial accounting and budgeting systems.
Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance and three (3) years of experience in accounting or finance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Knowledge of standard accounting principles, concepts, and procedures. Knowledge of budget planning and monitoring and financial analysis. Requires excellent communication and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Attention to detail with excellent accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Analytical skills to identify and comprehend opportunities for financial and operational improvement through data analysis and interpretation.
