Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in both outside and inside sales, with a strong focus on business development and account management. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively engage with clients, generate leads, and drive sales growth across various territories. Two years event, event services, hospitality or banquet sales, event management and coordination with customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Conduct outside sales activities, including networking to generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Skills

  • Strong account management skills with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with technology sales and technical products is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using CRM software for tracking sales activities and managing client information.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Strong analysis skills to assess market trends and customer needs effectively.
  • Ability to conduct engaging product demos that highlight key features and benefits.
  • Experience in territory management with the capability of handling multiple accounts simultaneously.

  • Handle new inquiries via phone, email and website, and respond with a Proposal in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Source and develop potential accounts; update and maintain all forms of account files.
  • Establish and maintain close contacts with clients through phone calls, appointments, and correspondence. Assess their current and future needs.
  • Meet with Customers to discuss their Event needs through Contract Signing.  Confirms pricing accuracy and for all products, paying particular attention to ad items.
  • Ensures the quality and condition of all products and services provided by Elements and Accents.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Assists with the planning, organization and execution of sales events.
  • Communicate to and coordinate with other departments, personnel, and vendors.
  • Work closely with the Department Managers to ensure clear communication of events ensuring for the customer a clear transition from Sales, including deliveries and pick-up of products.
  • Teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team.
  • Maintain entries and bookings into Goodshuffle to an appropriate standard and with correct information.
  • Maintain accurate sales files and trace system on all accounts.
  • Develop and maintain good rapport with clients, competitors, and vendors.
  • Assists as needed to ensure the success of the company as a whole.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Sales Director

    Pay : $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
