Remote Data Engineer (AWS + Python)

A leading digital media & streaming company is looking for a Remote Data Engineer to help power their next generation of content analytics and personalization. In this full-time role, you'll design and build serverless data pipelines using tools like Python, AWS Lambda, Glue, Spark / EMR, and REST APIs to support real-time insights across the platform.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
• Python and modern ETL practices
• AWS (Lambda & Glue are a MUST!)
• Familiarity with data lakes, warehouses, and serverless integration
• Strong database knowledge (RDS, NoSQL, XML / JSON)
• Ability to design and optimize scalable pipelines in distributed systems

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with real-time streaming pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar)

Familiarity with CI / CD workflows and DevOps best practices

Knowledge of MLOps principles

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

60% Hands-on development and engineering

20% Designing and optimizing data workflows and infrastructure

The Offer

Salary range : $150,000-$160,000 (based on experience)
