Gala & Associates, Inc., a full-service consulting Architectural and Engineering firm located in Beverly Hills, MI, is seeking a Senior-level Mechanical Engineer to work with our staff on our Automotive and Heavy Industrial facility projects.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in leading our Mechanical department and provide technical design support to the design team
- Prepare schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications in compliance with owners requirements and ensure governmental code compliance
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates
- Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field / site surveys and observations
- Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owners, product manufacturers, vendors, and building contractors as required
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines
Experience Required :

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master Degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in building systems
- Licensed PE
- LEED-certified
- Knowledge of industry technical software - Revit a plus
- Strong leadership skills - ability to motivate and direct team
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
