What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or concerns to the appropriate personnel and / or local authorities as directed.

Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the facility, checking identification as required, and monitoring entry and exit points.

Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and following established protocols for incidents such as medical emergencies or fire alarms.

Maintain thorough and accurate daily logs and incident reports as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to support a welcoming and secure atmosphere within the location.

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Applicants must provide proof of vaccination as required for hospital environments.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
