Nestled in the scenic mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center is a skilled nursing home facility that provides long-term care and is operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be tasked with ensuring a safe and secure environment by protecting lives and property, as well as enforcing operational policies and regulations. Your responsibilities will include patrolling and monitoring all buildings and grounds, both on foot and by vehicle, to identify and address any fire or safety hazards. Additionally, you will respond to emergencies within the facility, providing support to manage and resolve critical incidents. You will also oversee all operational functions of the facility's communication center, mail services, switchboard, surveillance systems, and related equipment, while regulating the activities of residents, vendors, guests, employees, and the public.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 40-hour work week
• Work hours are 2nd shift (3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM), rotating days off including weekends. No unpaid lunch break.
• Overtime : As needed
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
