JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading global data centre developer , who are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple large-scale data centre projects across the US.

About the Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of major hyperscale data centre construction projects valued at over $300 million each. This position will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of project execution — including safety, schedule, budget, scope, and quality — ensuring the successful completion of mission-critical infrastructure projects within the client’s international portfolio.

Working closely with general contractors, design teams, and senior stakeholders, the Senior Project Manager will drive excellence in project management, lead cross-functional coordination, and ensure seamless delivery from design through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, schedule, scope, budget, and quality objectives
• Oversee general contractors, commissioning agents, and third-party consultants, ensuring performance and accountability across all project phases
• Coordinate closely with design managers, architects, and engineers to align pre-construction and construction activities
• Support environmental, entitlement, and permitting processes to enable timely project execution
• Develop strategic sourcing plans for contractor and vendor selection, negotiation, and award
• Implement robust communication, reporting, and documentation processes to maintain project governance and transparency
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, change management, and risk mitigation
• Champion constructability reviews and value engineering initiatives to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency
• Lead project meetings (OAC, Design, MEP, ACx) and present executive summaries to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, promoting a culture of operational excellence on all sites
