Imagine your week as a Regional Channel Development Manager : Monday morning you’re in Cincinnati walking a lumber yard with a long-time distributor, uncovering add-on opportunities. Midweek, you’re in Indianapolis leading a hands-on product demo for a new dealer group. By Friday, you’re reviewing pipeline wins from Detroit and planning next month’s ride-alongs in Northern Michigan. You set the pace, own the relationships, and grow a warm territory with strong brand pull.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

  • Deepen and expand relationships with distributor partners (lumber yards, building product suppliers) across your territory.
  • Prospect and onboard new B2B accounts to strengthen channel coverage and drive incremental sales.
  • Lead compelling product presentations and provide practical, technical guidance that helps distributors sell with confidence.
  • Operate independently in the field while staying closely aligned with sales leadership on strategy and priorities.
  • Travel regularly (about 2 nights per week) to stay close to customers and opportunities.

Territories Hiring

  • Territory 1 : Indiana / Ohio (Cincinnati & Indianapolis area)
  • Territory 2 : Northern Michigan / Detroit area
  • What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales success, ideally in building materials.
  • Proven track record managing a multi-state or multi-market territory through distributors (not direct-to-homeowners).
  • Relationship-first approach, strong communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Self-directed work style with minimal need for oversight; you thrive in high-autonomy roles.
  • Clean driving record; a fleet vehicle is provided for business use.
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience with windows, doors, or related building products.
  • Working knowledge of distribution channels (lumber yards, building suppliers).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Compensation & Rewards

  • Base Salary : approximately $70,000
  • Monthly Commission : averages $5,000–$12,000
  • Total First-Year Earnings : $110,000–$115,000 (long-term potential $130,000–$170,000)
  • Perks : Company vehicle (business use), expense card, company covers 80% of healthcare premiums, 14 days PTO (increases every 5 years), and a monthly phone reimbursement.
