Under direct supervision prepares and portions a variety of foods requiring short preparation for patients. Delivers meals and nourishments to patients, while providing high quality customer service.

Complies with HACCP guidelines and ensures proper washing and sanitizing of work areas and equipment.

This posting is for multiple openings of a Food Service Attendant at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. We are hiring for the following positions in the Food Nutrition Department :

Food Service Attendant - Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

Required qualifications :

upon hire : National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Specific vocational training. This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment.
  • 6 months training or on the job training in quantity food preparation and basic principles of sanitation and safety in food handling.
