Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems in our properties. This is a full-time position that may require occasional evening or weekend work.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions.
- Install electrical equipment and wiring systems.
- Repair electrical systems and equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and standards.
- Update electrical equipment to meet current safety standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other professionals to complete projects on time and on budget.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school. 2-year degree preferred.
- Must be a licensed Journeymen Electrician in the state of Florida.
- At least 5 years’ hands on experience
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
