About The Position

Position Description

  • Sunrise Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a nationally respected, high-acuity Level III NICU team in Las Vegas, NV.
  • This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, high-volume, and technologically advanced setting , with access to comprehensive pediatric subspecialties and cutting-edge neonatal interventions.
  • In this role, you will :
  • Join a collaborative team of 13 neonatologists and 12 advanced practice providers (NNPs / PAs) .
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a 72-bed Level III NICU (average daily census ~60).
  • Manage complex and critical neonatal cases , including ELBW infants.
  • Utilize advanced neonatal technologies, including :
  • ECMO
  • Jet & oscillatory high-frequency ventilation
  • Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Whole-body cooling for HIE
  • Participate in dedicated neonatal resuscitation and transport teams .
  • Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, including cardiovascular surgery .
  • Integrate care across a full pediatric ecosystem ( PICU, CVICU, pediatric ER ).
  • Contribute to a high-performing, compassionate care model focused on innovation and outcomes.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Board Certification : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – NNP-BC ( Required )
  • Education : Master’s degree (or higher) in Nursing with NNP certification ( Required )
  • Licensure : Nevada State License (or willingness to obtain) ( Required )
  • DEA & CSR / CDS : Must be obtained prior to start ( Required – no exemptions )
  • Clean malpractice / license history : Highly Preferred
