Industrial Engineer role at Epiroc

Join our team in a role focused on developing warehouse and logistics processes and systems within the Distribution Center. You will be a versatile industrial engineer applying analytical tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity, including value stream mapping, capacity planning, facility design, and layout optimization.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement independently and be an innovator of new ways of working
• Develop processes to ensure efficient flow of operational functions while maintaining a safe working environment
• Contribute to the organization's understanding of customer needs
• Develop new processes to enable efficiency and effectiveness
• Design and implement operational layouts to improve internal processes
• Lead projects for the distribution center, including evaluation of new investments, pre-studies, implementation, and commissioning
• Train distribution center staff in new processes and routines
• Collaborate across departments to ensure effective communication within each function of the Distribution Center
• Benchmark and provide tools to measure business performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Supervise and direct Warehouse Auditor activities to support responsibilities above
