About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : RN (Registered Nurse)

Shift : Days

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience

License : RN License (ND or Compact)

Certifications : BLS Certification

Must-Have :

Large hospital experience with 250 plus beds and level 1 trauma status.

Experience working in an acute facility with 15 or more OR suites.

Experience with robotics, preferably DaVinci.

Strong general and ENT experience.

Description :

Circulating nurses will document and care for patients in the operative setting.

Responsibilities include sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, and opening sterile supplies.

Positioning patients for surgical procedures and documenting within an electronic record is essential.

Utilizing and setting up operating room equipment as directed is required.

Experience with Neuro and Ortho procedures and navigation is necessary.

The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 1.

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.

Scrub color will be provided as Ceil Blue.

Floating to other units or departments may occur, but it is rare.

Call is required for 1 to 2 days a week and every 3 to 4 weekends.

Nurses may rotate to PM shifts with all staff as needed.
