Field Service Technician
Nidec Minster Corporation, the largest manufacturer of material forming presses in the United States has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician.
This person will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to assist customers with their Minster supplied equipment, supervising / instructing personnel in setting up equipment in customer plants, training customer's personnel on proper maintenance and operation of Minster equipment.
DUTIES
- Provide technical and maintenance support to Minster's customers with their metal forming equipment
- Commission new and remanufactured metal forming equipment in customers' plants
- Audit customers' metal forming equipment and report all repair requirements found
- Work flexible hours to support customer service needs - primarily day shift with some off-shift support

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of machinery mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and maintenance processes
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive domestic and international travel is required
