Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong skills in neuro, vascular, and cardiac procedures and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is within an interventional radiology / cardiac cath lab setting
  • Daily department caseload averages 15 cases
  • Patient population includes neuro, vascular, and cardiac cases
  • Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • On-call required for 8 days per 4-week period and 1 weekend every 3-5 weeks
  • Clinician may float within the cath lab unit as needed
  • Uses Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo, IVUS / IFR / FFR, Boston IVUS IFR / FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave equipment
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • EPIC charting experience is not required but is helpful
  • Modules must be completed during orientation; annual completion required
  • Not accepting local candidates within a 75-mile radius
  • Maximum of 7 days RTO will be approved
  • Candidates are expected to cover call and provide support across all types of interventional procedures as needed

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology / cardiac cath lab experience required
  • Current ARRT (R), ACLS, BLS, and applicable state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Pending state license accepted for consideration
  • Experience with neuro, vascular, and cardiac procedures required
  • Experience with equipment such as Philips imaging systems and associated tools required
