Medical Director Psychiatrist
Location : Fort Wayne, Indiana
Setting : Acute Inpatient Psychiatry
A leading hospital in Fort Wayne is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Facility Medical Director . This role combines direct patient care with program leadership , offering an excellent balance of clinical practice and administrative responsibilities. Position Highlights
- Monday Friday schedule, 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m. (flexible)
- Adult and geriatric psychiatric caseload, patients / day
- Primarily inpatient psychiatry with occasional PHP / IOP coverage and tele-psychiatry consults
- Facility Medical Director responsibilities include collaboration with hospital administration, quality oversight, and aligning clinical care with hospital goals
