Job descriptionA high school diploma / GED is highly preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a quality testing role. Tool testing experience is preferred. Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment. High level of attention to detail Ability to work independently and with a team Experience with various computer systems Preferably has a working knowledge of micrometers and calipers. Can accurately and efficiently record quality testing outcomes. Must have proficient math skills and be able to read, write, add, and subtract. Must have above average manual dexterity. 100% of the time, must be able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry + / - 40 pounds. Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance. Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back. 75% of the time is spent standing throughout the shift. Basic Function : This job involves maintaining the overall quality of fastening systems. This job is responsible for conducting routine inspections on products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct testing for finished products and raw materials.
- Audit production lines to ensure product is made to specification.
- Complete internal calibrations on time and according to schedule.
- Review material certifications and report any discrepancies.
- Accepting or rejecting product and discussion results with teams.
- Keep lab and equipment in good condition and proper working order.
- Report any quality issues to management.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Do other duties as assigned.
