About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in specialty preferred

License : Compact or state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS required

Must-Have :

Must be fully competent in all endoscopic procedures, including advanced procedures.

Expertise in pulmonary procedures is preferred.

Ability to function independently in all areas of Endoscopy is necessary.

Description :

This position requires the nurse to be adaptable and respond to emergency situations.

The nurse may be added to an emergency team and expected to stay on-site during weather-related events.

Candidates should be comfortable with the possibility of being part of a relief team.

8-hour shifts will occur Monday through Friday, including on-call responsibilities during off-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Flexibility in shift timings is expected based on unit needs.

The role includes administering conscious sedation and airway management.

Experience in handling bronchoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and ERCP procedures is vital.

Candidates will also be responsible for specimen handling, IV maintenance, and patient monitoring.

It is important to demonstrate professionalism and align with the organization's mission and values.

This role involves caring for adult and geriatric populations with various diagnoses.

Candidates should prepare to manage a daily census and multiple patient visits effectively.

Attendance and participation in all scheduled shifts is crucial for this role.
