AVP, Pension Risk Transfer Sales
The AVP, Pension Risk Transfer Sales is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of activity related to PRT sales in support of company and department business objectives and strategies. This position will act as a subject matter expert within the PRT organization and will work with internal and external stakeholders to expand relationships and enhance brand awareness of F&G in the PRT market.
The AVP, Pension Risk Transfer Sales will report to the SVP, Head of Pension Risk Transfer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of PRT bid opportunities from initial bid decisioning through commitment agreement execution.
- Engage thoughtfully and proactively with PRT consultants leveraging PRT business acumen to cultivate and expand relationships.
- Identify and execute opportunities to increase number and quality of PRT distribution relationships
- Manage, monitor, and report on PRT sales pipeline.
- Lead the development of department strategies which expand PRT and adjacent product capabilities.
- Oversee PRT marketing activities which enhance brand awareness of F&G.
- Coordinate with PRT Pricing, Profitability, and Operations staff to optimize execution on PRT sales opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, Investments, Legal, IT, and Marketing to ensure that PRT sales opportunities are managed effectively.
- Serve as a PRT industry thought leader supporting the development of strategic marketing materials and participation in industry conferences, webinars, etc.
- Lead, manage and develop Sales Associate team members.
Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial services, with a focus on pension consultingActuarial credentials is a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong background in defined benefit pension, pension risk transfer, insurance, consulting, or salesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to others in a clear, focused, and concise manner.Demonstrated conceptualization, vision, and strategic skills as well as strong influence and leadership skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent organization and documentation skillsDemonstrated ability to perform effectively in an environment of constant change.Demonstrated ability to deliver required results and lead other staffDemonstrated ability to improve processes.Other Requirements
