POSITION SUMMARY

The Server Assistant / Food Runner will work in both FOH and BOH to deliver food items to guests, prepare non-alcoholic beverages, prepare some light food items, deliver beverages to guests, assist in the set-up, cleaning and clearing of the dining room.

Server Assistant / Food Runner Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist servers in properly serving food and beverages
• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next patrons
• Ensure food and beverages have been made and garnished properly
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages
• Some light food preparation
• Ensure orders are grouped together and that customers receive the right order
• Must be able to work positively with all staff members, independently and as part of a team
• Uphold the standards of the organization at all times
• Ensure that your station is kept clean, organized and closed properly at end of shift
• General cleaning and maintenance of work areas, complete all assigned daily tasks

• Must be able to multi-task
• Have the ability to work well under pressure and as a team
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to maintain a high quality of friendly and attentive service to our patrons
• Must have very strong verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to bend, stoop, stand for up to six hours at a time.
• This position frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted.

SCHEDULE

Must be available to work nights and weekends

Salary Description
