Job Overview :

Responsibilities :

• Perform patient evaluations to assess physical limitations, identify impairments, and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and equipment.
• Regularly evaluate and re-assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.
• Instruct and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises, stretches, and conditioning routines.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, such as massage, joint mobilization, and manipulation to alleviate pain and increase range of motion.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hydrotherapy, to facilitate healing and pain relief.
• Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in function, pain levels, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay up-to-date on advances in physical therapy techniques, research, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards, as well as relevant healthcare regulations.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Proven experience in evaluating and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy and compassion toward patients experiencing pain or discomfort.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
