Eating Disorder Recovery Specialist

About the Role :

As an Eating Disorder Recovery Specialist at Koplin Consulting, you will provide intensive, live-in support to clients during 4 week assignments. Your role is crucial in helping clients manage triggers, navigate emotions, and build a stable foundation for recovery. Each assignment is tailored to the client's needs, enabling you to make a direct and meaningful impact.

• In-Home Coaching :  Provide intensive, live-in support to clients, implementing recovery strategies and fostering a structured, supportive environment within their homes for 2 - 4 week assignments.
• Emotional Support & Crisis Intervention :  Offer immediate, in-the-moment emotional support, utilizing therapeutic techniques to help clients manage difficult emotions, triggers, and potential crises.
• Trigger Management & Relapse Prevention :  Guide clients in identifying, navigating, and managing triggers in real-time, developing coping skills and relapse prevention strategies.
• Personal Growth & Life Skills Development :  Assist clients in creating balanced schedules, pursuing educational or vocational goals, fostering healthy social connections, and building a strong foundation for independent living.
• Family Engagement & Communication :  Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with families, providing education and support to strengthen relationships and promote a supportive home environment.
• Activity Support & Community Integration :  Accompany clients to appointments, therapy sessions, recreational activities, and community events, promoting engagement and integration into their daily lives.
• Documentation :  Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, interventions, and observations.
