Description :

This is a travel nursing position for an RN specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The unit has 12 labor and delivery beds, 8 triage beds, and 11 antepartum beds.

There are 72 staff members, including charge nurses, registered nurses, techs, and secretaries.

Patient ratios are estimated as 1 : 2 in labor and delivery, 1 : 3-4 in triage, and 1 : 4 in antepartum.

Nurses will utilize GE monitors and a Centricity EMR system.

Typical procedures performed include vaginal births, cesarean sections, dilation and curettage, hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and version procedures.

The unit cares for high-risk obstetric patients.

Ideal candidates are team players who are flexible and adaptable.

This position offers an opportunity to work with experienced staff and utilize advanced equipment and technology.

Candidates with travel experience or PACU experience are preferred.
