What You'll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the campus environment

Conduct regular and random patrols around academic buildings, common areas, and the perimeter of the location to help deter potential security-related issues

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols

Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, emergency responders, and / or campus personnel when situations arise

Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions to maintain a secure atmosphere for students, faculty, staff, and visitors

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to the campus community

What We're Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience

Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED

Should be comfortable using a computer or tablet

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
