Travel EP Radiology Technologist Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,700 - $2,770

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025, End : 1 / 12 / 2026)

Location : Springfield, IL 62781 (Central Illinois healthcare jobs)

Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet Hospital

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (06 : 30 - 17 : 00), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 40

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Any solid color

Parking : Free parking permit provided

EP Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an EP Tech or Radiology Technologist

Active Illinois state Radiology Technologist license (required at submission)

BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross only)

ACLS and ARRT R credentials preferred

Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred

Ability to float within the hospital and to affiliate healthcare facilities as needed

Willingness to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities for EP Radiology Technologist

Perform and assist with electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator insertions, cardiac ablations, lead extractions, and Watchman device placements

Set up and operate specialized EP equipment (Biosense mapping, LSPro, Siemens and Phillips ICE)

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias

Maintain sterile field and assist with room circulation during procedures

Perform EKG lead placement and obtain baseline measurements

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Respiratory Services, Rapid Response, and Transportation

Float to other clinical units within scope as needed to support hospital operations
