Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 13 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or equivalent experience with enterprise software technology.
• 5 years of experience with people management.
• Experience working in the SMB space.
• Experience leading cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. In this role, you will lead a pivotal function in Google Cloud's Go-to-Market organization and will drive our Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) positioning and solution promoting priorities, transforming how we engage with customers for accelerated growth. You will lead a global team responsible for crafting compelling narratives that position our repeatable and deployable solutions across SMB. You will be empowering our SMB business organizations globally, equipping them with the insights and tools to foster meaningful business value conversations with customers. Beyond team leadership, you will serve as a trusted domain expert, providing exceptional insights into Google Cloud's market positioning, evolving industry and consumer trends, and the application of our technology offerings. You will directly impact our market perception and business effectiveness.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

The British Columbia base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 220,000-226,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
