Human Resources Manager
Location : Sterling Heights, MI – 100% Onsite
Salary : $100,000–$115,000 + Bonus Opportunity
Role Summary
Our client is seeking a hands-on, people-first Human Resources Manager to lead all HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who feels at home on the plant floor, builds trust quickly, and leads with fairness, consistency, and empathy.
You’ll oversee staffing, employee relations, safety, HR systems, and training while partnering closely with leadership to uphold a respectful, team-oriented culture. This is a highly visible position where your work directly supports a workforce that takes pride in their craft.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
8–10 years of HR generalist and supervisory / management experience
Manufacturing background required, with strong comfort interacting with plant-floor employees
Proven recruiting experience, including creative approaches to staffing and pipeline building
Strong employee relations background, including investigations and compliance
Experience overseeing safety programs and workers compensation
Hands-on experience with benefits administration
Experience delivering or coordinating employee training
Proficiency with HRIS and timekeeping systems
Highly self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing HR independently
