We are seeking an exceptional and highly detail-oriented Revision Specialist to join our dynamic team in a crucial role that demands meticulous attention and linguistic expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, revising, and quality-checking a diverse array of digital text materials, ensuring impeccable accuracy and consistency across all documents. This position requires not only a sharp eye for detail and the ability to catch nuanced discrepancies, but also strong language and editing skills, coupled with effective time management. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, possessing excellent organizational and communication skills. They should be comfortable working within a structured "9 to 5" schedule, embracing frequent team interactions and regular check-ins throughout the day. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the quality of our digital content, playing a vital part in upholding our organization's reputation for excellence. If you are a detail-driven individual with a passion for precision and a collaborative spirit, this position provides a rewarding opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Main Responsibilities :

Perform high-volume, detailed redlining of documents with precision.

Edit, revise, update, and insert document content and data (e.g., text, elements, tables)

Check and maintain accuracy in titles, headers, footers, and logical flow or sequence in text of documents.

Use language tools (e.g., lexicons, translation tools) to verify correct terminology, language use, and formatting, especially in multilingual contexts.

Edit documents to correct formatting issues and ensure compliance with established formatting requirements.

Review digital documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to redline mockups, source material, and internal guidelines.

Ensure fidelity between revised document versions and prior or original versions, identify and track discrepancies or errors in layout, structure, headers, and content.

Accurately identify, track, and report discrepancies or errors, using sound judgment to distinguish between critical issues requiring immediate escalation and minor inconsistencies.

Participate in peer review and final Quality Assurance processes to ensure document readiness.

Manage multiple priorities and shift between tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.

Maintain ongoing communication and responsiveness with project managers and team members via messaging tools and email during standard work hours.

Execute assignments accurately and timely, to meet assigned deadlines.

Manage workload to align with project timelines and team expectations.

Thoroughly review assignment instructions and proactively ask clarifying questions to ensure full understanding and accurate execution of assignments.

Requirements :

Ability to balance multiple assignments, shift focus quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Adept and comfortable with repetitive tasks.

Excellent understanding of the English language, and excellent reading comprehension and ability to follow detailed written instructions thoroughly.

Strong proofreading and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify both surface-level and nuanced errors. Self-review capabilities to catch one's own errors before submission.

Highly experienced with Microsoft Word, including Word formatting tools with the ability to expertly format tables, manage indentation, control line spacing, insert and adjust page breaks, and maintain consistent styles throughout documents.

Clear, professional communication and the confidence to ask clarifying questions when necessary.

Experience with version control and adapting to document management systems.

Familiar with working in environments where rapid-context switching is required, including the ability to handle different document types.

Comfortable and experienced with collaborative workflows, including frequent check-ins and ongoing communication during a traditional "9 to 5" schedule.

Strong work ethic and initiative-not just a copy-paste approach.

Associate's or bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience working in deadline-driven, highly collaborative remote environments with frequent communication and iteration.

Experience proofreading and reviewing documents for visual consistency, formatting precision, and complete layout accuracy across multiple versions.

Multilingual proficiency or experience working with multilingual content, including basic understanding of language structure or translation workflows.

Familiarity with legal contracts, legal terminology, or prior experience in legal document review where accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance are critical.

Background in editing or reviewing technical, policy, academic, or regulatory documents where detail and structured formatting are essential.

Familiarity with data and formatting tools, such as Excel and Numbers; with productivity and project tools, such as Adobe Acrobat (PDFs), Quip, and Box; and with communication tools, such as email and Slack.
