Job description

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU / Pre-Post Op RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Pay Information

$2,088 per week

About The Position

Job Title : PACU RN - Inpatient

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : PACU

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years required

License : Pending License accepted

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have : Level 1 trauma and telemetry experience

Description :

No RTO 12 / 24-12 / 25.

No RQI certifications required.

36 / 48 hours weekly.

No local candidates within a 75-mile radius.

Pre / post Cath lab procedures required.

Pre / post IR procedures required.

COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of exemption form signed by a provider.

Nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 2.

First-time travelers accepted, subject to screening.

Weekend requirement : one per month.

On-call requirement : 1-2 call overnight shifts monthly.

Nurses will float within scope to meet facility needs.

Patient to nurse ratios in holding area can be 1 : 3-5.

Must be willing to accommodate pre-op duties.

Highly recommend clinicians with phase II PACU experience.

Required experience includes care of ventilated patients, dysrhythmia recognition and management, and management of pediatric patients.

Eligible candidates must be able to care for a variety of patients, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census is 35+ cases.

Services provided include general surgery, ENT, robotic surgery, open heart, kidney transplant, orthopedic, neurology, urology, endoscopy, wound care, and anesthesia mobile procedure recovery.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.

Candidate must be fully available and ready to comply within the first 1-2 weeks after signing.

Drug screens are required to complete within 30 days of starting.

All vacation time or schedule conflicts must be communicated prior to submission.

Travelers can work up to 12 consecutive months before needing to take a break between assignments.

Candidates who have been permanent employees must be out of the system for 12 months before applying as travelers.
