New England Trail Coordinator

A company is looking for a New England National Scenic Trail Coordinator to advance the protection, promotion, and stewardship of the New England National Scenic Trail.

Key Responsibilities

Support and build capacity within the volunteer New England Trail Committee for trail stewardship and project planning

Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and advance trail-wide goals

Organize community-oriented events and activities to promote the New England Trail

Required Qualifications

At least two years of experience in trail or land stewardship, recreation, or volunteer organizing

Experience with GIS mapping software is highly preferred

Experience in trail building and maintenance

Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for travel to meetings and site visits

Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
