Medical Collections AND Billing Specialist
Insight Global is looking for a Medical Billing and Collection Specialist to join a large university healthcare system in Alabama.
The position will be 100% remote, but this person should be able to work CST hours. He / She will be responsible for working off a que to collect and reconcile encounters for assigned coverage and will respond timely and accurately to written billing inquires for patients and / or insurance companies.
Overall, this candidate should have a strong background in hospital billing and feel confident with working in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail.
- 2+ years of hospital billing experience
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience with billing and claim follow up
- Experience with UHC and Medicare Advantage plans
