This position is responsible for performing complex service and repair of our tractors, trailers, chassis, containers, and power equipment on-site at customer sites or rail yard using a mobile service truck.

The hourly pay range for this role is between $28.47 and $42.71 per hour. We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for a limited time!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, tire replacements / flat repairs, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics, and basic structural repairs on tractor and trailer equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ABS system and specialized equipment including refrigerated units, lift gates, and frame alignment
• May onboard and mentor new technician trainees; act as team lead to coordinate shift support and tasks
• Follow all safety requirements while at a customer or rail yard
• Professionally operate assigned service truck and according to company requirements; properly attend to service truck parts inventory
• Accurately complete work orders and other written materials according to established procedures
• Properly document damage to company equipment to estimate the cost of repairs
• Demonstrate proficient use of a cutting torch and welding equipment to perform mid-level repairs on chassis, frames, and other equipment
• Patch holes in trailer / container side panels and roofs ensuring all holes are sealed and water-tight
• Perform annual AA Trailer and FHWA Brake Inspections sign-off
